Whenever any sweet occasion comes to me, I wish, holy one, to fulfill my vows with my pen. Highest father of the homeland, venerable throughout the whole world, dear to me on every side, brilliant care of God — commending my humble self to you, holy Gregory, I ask that you pray to God on behalf of your own servant.
