It is necessary that we think either about the state of the business assigned to you or about the absence of your love, and our concern for these matters does not suffer us to let pass any occasions of writing. Previously, through Stephanus the merchant, whom we have commended to you, we sent letters. Now too, having found another occasion, we repeat this same attention, greeting your love through the present page, and desiring to be instructed either about your health or about the progress of the cause. We ask and urge you to make us fully certain, by sending letters at every opportunity, what has been done or what situation you have encountered.
